Our favorite season is upon us! We love everything about fall! The change of colors, cooler temperatures, and the fall festivals! One of the best parts about living in a new Simms Development home is that you are only a short distance away from the most unique events around. When it comes to food, artisans, games, and activities for the kids; here is a list of our favorite Fall Festivals around the Dayton region:

Taste of the Oregon District
Saturday, September 17th
Oregon District – 5th Street, Dayton, OH 45402
Enjoy snack portions from the eclectic kitchens of the Oregon District. Pause to enjoy live music, sidewalk sales, browse our many retail shops, and more to make for a wonderful afternoon sipping, strolling, and most importantly of all — snacking! This is a family-friendly event.

Beer! A Celebration of Dayton’s Craft Brewing
Saturday, September 17th
Yellow Cab Tavern – 700 E. 4th Street, Dayton, OH 45402
Bringing together all of Dayton’s burgeoning craft brewing scene for one night at the Annual Craft Beer Festival.

Aullwood’s annual Fall Fest returns with many of your favorite foods, crafts, farm animal friends, and our tractor-pulled wagon ride.

Aullwood Fall Fest
Saturday & Sunday: September 17 – 18th
Aullwood Audubon – 1000 Aullwood Rd, Dayton, OH 45414
Many of your favorite foods will be back including Dutch oven apple pie, fresh-pressed cider and chili. Children’s activities, farm animal friends, tractor-pulled wagon ride, artisan and craft exhibitors will be featured both days as we once again celebrate the special ambiance of the farm in the fall!

Polish Fall Picnic
Sunday, September 18th
Polish Club Picnic Grounds – 3690 Needmore Rd, Dayton, OH 45424
Food, Beverages, Music, Dancing featuring Randy Krajewski and his polka band. Gates open 1pm Music 3-7pm Admission $5.

One of the best Americano festivals in Ohio, the Mum Festival offers family fun, great food & live entertainment all weekend long in downtown Tipp City!

Tipp City Mum Festival
Friday – Sunday: September 23 – 25th
Tipp City – City Park – 35 Parkwood Drive, Tipp City, OH 45371
For two days the City Park turns into the festival grounds with something for everyone from arts, crafts, entertainment and, of course, food! The Mum Festival Antique and Show Car Cruise-In packs the historic downtown area with hundreds of quality and unique vehicles for the largest festival car show in the state.

Germantown Pretzel Festival
Saturday & Sunday: September 24 – 25th
Veterans Memorial Park – 190 W. Warren St., Germantown, OH 45327
Come join us for the annual Germantown Pretzel Festival in Veterans Memorial Park. You’ll see our vendors having hand-crafted items, tasty treats, fun for the kids and more! Bring the whole family and take in some of the views of historical Germantown!

Lebanon’s only 2 day arts and crafts festival features over 300 arts, crafts and food vendors, as well as live entertainment.

Country Applefest
Saturday & Sunday: September 24 – 25th
Warren County Fairgrounds – 665 North Broadway, Lebanon, OH 45036
Celebrate the 38th annual Country Applefest at the Warren County Fairgrounds in Lebanon, Ohio. The fairgrounds will be filled with quality homemade crafts, great food, and entertainment.

 

Spring Valley Potato Festival
Saturday, October 1st
Bledsoe Park – 2 W. Main St. Spring Valley, OH 45370
Come and shop at all the unique vendors! Lots of Arts and Crafts booths. Live Entertainment, 5K Tater Trot Run/Walk, and Carnival Rides. Come hungry and eat some food from our many food vendors. Yummy Potato Soup and Potato Candy is always a must! Sit and enjoy the music in Bledsoe Park at Thompson Pavilion. You don’t want to miss this event!

Chocolate Festival
Saturday, October 1st
Montgomery County Fairgrounds – 645 Infirmary Road, Dayton, OH 45417
Visit professional chocolatiers, food trucks, local craft and food vendors, a free Kids Zone with games and prizes, free entertainment on the festival stage throughout the day, and plenty of free seating.

It’s back! Music & Beer Fest – Vendors – Shops & Eateries – Endless Fun provides you the opportunity to experience the art, culture, and community of Yellow Springs!

Yellow Springs Street Fair
Saturday, October 8th

All day festival entertainment, street performers, fine arts & crafts, clothing, jewelry, fair trade items, unique gifts, and a multitude of shops and restaurants in the beautiful village of Yellow Springs, it’s a day you won’t want to miss!

Enon Apple Butter Festival
Saturday & Sunday: October 8 – 9th
Village of Enon – 120 S Xenia Dr, Enon, OH 45323
Enjoy the pleasant aroma of cooking apples, spices, and wood smoke at the festival where everything still revolves around apple butter!

Fairborn Halloween Festival

The Fairborn Halloween Festival attracts over 10,000 people who enjoy Live Music, Food Trucks, Beer Garden, Downtown Shopping, Amusement Rides, Games, Spooktacular Parade, Street Vendors, Foy’s Haunted Museum, Costume Contest, Trick or Treat at Booths, Zombie Walk and much more!!! It’s all happening in Fairborn!

This arts & craft show keeps getting bigger and better. With over 140 booths of the most incredible artisans, crafters, food trucks and more! Just in time to decorate for the holidays!

Dayton Music Fest

Dayton Music Fest is back in it’s 18th year with 20 local bands, 10 local singer songwriters, Local MCs, DJs, and more! With exciting reunions and favorite contemporary acts, the lineup features plenty of exciting Dayton musicians old and new!

Fall at the Fairgrounds Craft Show
Saturday & Sunday: October 29 – 30th
Clark County Fairgrounds – 4401 South Charleston Pike, Springfield, OH 45502
Craft Show! Over 130 booths of artists, crafters, farmers, jewelry, authors, diamond art, BBQ, flags, canvas purses, plants and much more. Come to the Clark County Fairgrounds.
