Every year, home builders from all over the country converge at the NAHB International Builders’ Show. It’s a great opportunity for us at Simms Development to see what’s happening in the industry and use this knowledge to help our current and future homeowners.

This year, Charles Simms and Robi Simms represented the Simms Development team, who both had a great time on the floor of the show, viewing new products that will enhance our homes now and in the future. Just wait until you see what’s coming!

Charlie and Robi attended a variety of industry events, too, such as the NAHB BUILD-PAC gathering. Simms Development contributes to local, state and national BUILD-PACs and for a good reason, as they help to protect our industry. BUILD-PAC’s mission is to elect pro-housing candidates in order to defend housing and the home building industry, and guard against harmful regulations.

Our area caucus meeting also offered great insight into how our region has grown over the past year, and how different governance’s are handling recent changes in our industry.

Overall, it was a great and informative trip all around, and we can’t wait until next year as we head to IBS in Vegas!

Simms Development builds new urban townhomes in downtown Dayton and other surrounding areas including Centerville and Springboro, and Beavercreek, Ohio. Please visit www.simmsdev.com for more information.
