It has been a busy year at Simms Development to say the least. We currently have five communities under construction. This blog serves as a year in review and as a sneak preview to our two new latest communities just underway. 2017 will be a banner year as we are celebrating our 60th anniversary at Charles Simms Development!
Parkside Row in Springboro saw many great advances as a community with the completion of the common courtyard/mini park area with an amazing fountain. This community recently had their annual Homeowners Association meeting and a chili cook off party was planned during the meeting. We are happy to announce that we are now sold out at Brownstones at Second in Downtown Dayton. We were able to sell all 24 Brownstones at Second homes and have turned over the Homeowners Association to our pleased homeowners. All four buildings have been constructed and the last homebuyers will be moving into their homes in early 2017. Brownstones at Second was also featured in the 2016 Dayton Homerama. We had over 1,200 people tour our decorated model and won the award for Most Innovative Home under $450,000 through the HBA of Dayton.
The first building at Monument Walk has been completed and is located on Monument Ave and Ludlow Streets in the Theater District. Throughout the year we have been able to put in new landscaping and sidewalks along the community, enhancing the area for our new homeowners. The Monument Walk model will be opening in early 2017, come and visit us! There will only be 16 homes built and the first 2 are already sold!
This year we also had two new communities get zoning approval, one in Downtown Dayton and one in the City of Beavercreek.
City View, located on 4th and Patterson Blvd in Downtown Dayton will bring a new building concept with private rooftop spaces for each townhome. The second community Simms Development got approved is called The Cottages of Beavercreek, located on County Line Road in Beavercreek across from Reynolds and Reynolds, one mile from The Greene.
