When Charles Simms heard the Peace Heroes Walk Around the World was coming to Dayton to commemorate 15 years since September 11th, we were eager to become part of the cause. Simms is excited to support the walk as a Presenting Corporate Sponsor, and want to extend the invite to our friends, family and others to join us as well!
Simms is proud to support a cause that strives to promote the art of living peacefully and celebrate the everyday men and women who accept all risks to make our world a less violent, more just place to live. These peace heroes will have their stories told at the walk to promote Peace Literacy and give others the knowledge of how they can help do the same.

The family-friendly event involves three different routes from the K-12 Gallery, Dayton Peace Museum and Dayton Art Institute, all of varying distances to suit all ages and abilities. Teams are formed through selecting a peace hero to honor, and each team captain will recognize this person, and share his/her story. Music and street fare will be available to enjoy for those who participate and come to support.
Proceeds will be disbursed throughout local community organizations promoting peace literacy, as well as the 21st Century Peace Literacy Foundation.
